CHPAA was founded by a group of physicians, dentists, pharmacists, physician assistants, nurses, allied health professionals, and volunteer community members. The vision of CHPAA is to promote health and well-being of the underserved in Cambodia and the U.S., free of charge. CHPAA has now completed 10 missions to Cambodia and about to embark on its 11th Medical, Surgical, and Dental Mission to Banteay Meanchey Province, Cambodia in January 2023. CHPAA  has treated over 54,207 patients free of charge, has given out toothbrushes, reading glasses, and prosthetic hands. With each mission, volunteers pay their own travel expenses and accommodations.
